Vectrona is seeking a Jr. Interagency Coordination Analyst to support National Guard Bureau (NGB) J5 operations on-site. This position provides coordination and engagement support across federal, state, and non-governmental stakeholders, facilitating interagency communication, tracking external engagements, and maintaining continuity documentation to support mission readiness and stakeholder alignment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 

  • Support NGO/VOAD engagement and external partner outreach efforts across federal, state, and non-governmental organizations
  • Attend, track, and document engagements with FEMA, DHS, State partners, and other interagency stakeholders
  • Assist in maintaining and updating continuity books, contact rosters, and engagement records
  • Facilitate interagency communications, ensuring timely dissemination of information across stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder maps to track relationships, roles, and engagement priorities
  • Support relationship management efforts, including coordination of meetings, follow-ups, and information sharing
  • Track and report on interagency activities, engagements, and action items
  • Assist in preparing briefing materials, summaries, and updates for leadership
  • Ensure coordination efforts align with applicable policies and guidance through policy literacy and compliance awareness

Preferred Education/Degree:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications: 

  • 2–5 years of experience supporting interagency coordination, stakeholder engagement, or program support
  • Experience supporting or interacting with federal, state, or non-governmental partners (e.g., FEMA, DHS, VOADs)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Ability to track, manage, and report on multiple coordination efforts simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience supporting National Guard, DoD, or homeland defense / civil support missions
  • Familiarity with VOAD, NGO, and interagency coordination frameworks
  • Experience with stakeholder mapping or relationship tracking tools
  • Understanding of continuity planning and documentation
