Background: Vectrona is seeking an experienced Air Warfare Systems Analyst to join our growing team to support research and development projects focused on enhancing warfighter readiness through advanced training technologies that combine Extended Reality, AI/ML-driven systems, biometric performance analytics, and immersive simulation environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct Systems Analysis to identify gaps in training methodologies, focusing on performance prediction, human-system integration, and adaptive technologies.
- Coordinate Cross-Disciplinary Teams in solution design and development efforts including needs analysis, training requirements development and instructional systems design
- Support Development of Adaptive Training Frameworks, including AI/ML-enabled training systems, physiological and cognitive trait analysis tools, and immersive learning modules across Naval Aviation and IAMD domains.
- Support Customer Engagement and assist in proactively managing relationships, assessing needs, and developing/delivering solutions
- Support Project Management throughout capability development lifecycle, including but not limited to risk assessment and mitigation planning, deliverable preparation, scheduling and execution
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in aircrew and maintainer training and operations
Preferred Education/Degree:
- BS in engineering or software development (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ operational experience within the last 20 years including experience with deployed operations, mission analysis and planning at the tactical and operational levels. Experience with air defense and Tactical C2 operations is highly desirable
- Experience in capability development including needs analysis, requirements development and training program development including alignment of training objectives to Mission Essential Tasks (desired).
- Desired: Experience in human factors engineering, systems test & evaluation, or integration of biometric data into operational analysis
- Preferred: Demonstrated experience with aircrew and maintainer training systems, and familiarity with Naval Aviation and Surface platforms and their capabilities/missions
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in training, including scenario generation, and performance analysis.
- Skilled in requirements development, systems integration planning, and feasibility assessments for training and simulation systems.
- Proficient in systems thinking and holistic problem analysis, including stakeholder engagement across technical, operational, and leadership domains.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including government sponsors, technical teams, and operational SMEs.
