Position/Title: Logistics Management Specialist- EOD Specific Equipment

Background: Vectrona is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist for EOD-Specific Equipment will provide specialized logistics support, inventory management, and maintenance oversight for equipment used in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations. This role focuses on ensuring the operational readiness of Integrated Logistics Operations (ILO) systems by applying lifecycle management strategies, coordinating modernization efforts, and resolving maintenance challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inventory and Maintenance Management:
- Oversee the distribution, tracking, and accountability of EOD-specific equipment in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Assess material readiness and provide recommendations for corrective actions or modernization efforts.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules for EOD-specific equipment to minimize downtime.
Lifecycle and Modernization Support:
- Ensure EOD-specific equipment adheres to lifecycle management principles, maximizing service life and operational efficiency.
- Propose and coordinate modernization projects to enhance EOD-specific equipment capabilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all updates and configuration changes.
Logistics Coordination:
- Collaborate with TOA Commodity Managers and other stakeholders to address equipment requirements and resolve logistical challenges.
- Support the issue, receipt, and movement of EOD-specific equipment across EODGRU ONE commands.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct detailed analysis of inventory and maintenance data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Prepare technical reports on equipment readiness, maintenance issues, and modernization projects for decision-making processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with EODGRU ONE N43 staff, subordinate commands, and external stakeholders to address operational needs.
- Provide training and technical guidance to personnel responsible for operating or maintaining EOD-specific equipment.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with DOD and DON policies for inventory management and maintenance processes.
- Maintain a SECRET clearance and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, engineering, computer science or related field. Equivalent military or professional experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience managing EOD-specific equipment, including lifecycle maintenance, modernization, and logistical oversight.
- Strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Operations (ILO) processes as they relate to EOD-specific tools and systems.
- Proficiency in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and familiarity with NAVFAC TOA Viewer and CDMD-OA.
- Skilled in maintenance scheduling tools such as SKED PMS Scheduler.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for developing documentation, detailed reports, and presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with Combat Command (NECC) logistics is preferred.
- Knowledge of lifecycle management principles and best practices for maintaining and modernizing EOD-specific equipment.
- Active SECRET clearance is required.

Specialized Expertise:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing EOD-specific equipment, including lifecycle maintenance, modernization, and inventory processes.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with NAVFAC TOA Viewer, DPAS, and other DOD inventory and maintenance management systems.
- Experience with maintenance scheduling tools like SKED PMS Scheduler and databases like CDMD-OA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
Communication and Leadership Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to work with diverse teams, including government personnel, contractors, and military stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong capability to resolve logistical and maintenance challenges and implement effective solutions for EOD-specific equipment.
