Position Summary: The DRRS Analyst provides essential support to MCICOM G-5 by managing the command’s input to the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). This role links operational readiness data with installation performance measures and ensures MCICOM’s capabilities are accurately represented in readiness assessments across the Marine Corps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update MCICOM DRRS entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of METL assessments, readiness narratives, and supporting documentation across headquarters, regions, and installations.
- Coordinate updates to Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs), develop readiness measures (equipment, personnel, facilities), and synchronize efforts with HQMC CD&I and PP&O.
- Draft and present readiness briefs to the O-6 Board, Executive Readiness Board, and Institutional Readiness Working Group.
- Align DRRS data with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and the Common Output Levels of Service (COLS) programs.
- Track readiness challenges, coordinate resolution with MCICOM G-3, G-4, and G-6, and manage action items and decision points from quarterly readiness boards.
- Manage internal readiness policy development, including drafting and revising DRRS guidebooks, training slides, and reporting procedures.
- Coordinate across installations and directorates to ensure readiness data integrity and strategic messaging alignment.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree; 4–10 years in readiness reporting, program analysis, or data-driven decision support.
- Preferred: 2+ years direct DRRS experience; USMC readiness process familiarity; advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.
